Treatment for Foot and Ankle Pain
Who do we treat?
Foot problems occur at all ages. At Physiotherapy Centre Bendigo our physiotherapists treat everybody from elite athletes to inactive people, from the young to the young at heart!
What can you expect during your treatment?
Our physiotherapists will make a comprehensive and detailed assessment to establish the correct diagnosis and develop a treatment plan. It may include hands on treatment to help your rapid recovery such as soft tissue or myofascial therapy, joint mobilisation, dry needling (yes – we needle feet!), and taping techniques. We will also look at your foot biomechanics and prescribe and fit appropriate orthotics to ensure full recovery and minimise re-injury.
Not only, but also…..
Physiotherapy Centre Bendigo stocks a range of orthotic thongs and sandals so that you always wear footwear that is correctly supporting your feet, even in summer!
We also carry Dr Comfort shoes, and accessories. These shoes are available in multiple width fittings, and are designed with no inside seams- perfect for diabetics and problem feet. An appointment can be made with one of our physiotherapists to assess and measure you for suitability and correct fit.
Our physiotherapists can also advise about the correct footwear for your sport.
