Women’s Health Physiotherapy

Women’s health physiotherapy relates to management of conditions specifically affecting women during all life stages such as adolescence, child bearing years, post menopause and older age.   A women’s health physiotherapist pays particular attention to preventing or assisting problems with the female pelvic organs.  This may include continence and pelvic floor physiotherapy.

A women’s health physiotherapist can help you with any of the following problems:

Bladder, bowel or pelvic floor problems

  • Incontinence (involuntary leakage) of urine or faeces
